Remembering when the weather was nice enough for these outfits… and looking forward to a potential new visit to Florida to visit Harry Potter World this August!

It’s been nice cold and snowy here for quite some time, and it got me remembering our summer fun!  I’m also headed with a bunch of friends to Medieval Times tomorrow, which brought the Disney World road trip back into the front of my mind!

I know we’ve had posts about this when it was happening, but just for fun, reminiscing purposes, here are some of my favorites from the Disney World road trip!

We’re all very excited around here because the new Harry Potter World will soon be opening up at Universal Studios!  That might just mean another summer road trip this August!  We shall see…

This week’s “Picture of the Week” comes from our July 2006 trip to Los Angeles, when Kara, Emily and I visited Jordan. We spent only three days in the city, but we managed to cram in as many activities as possible. This picture, taken on our last day, was from our day of seeing the Hollywood sights. After visiting the Chinese theater and trying to fit our hands and feet into other people’s prints, we strolled along the Walk of Fame.

Our goal for the Walk of Fame was to seek out stars whose fame we found humorous. Amongst them were David Hasselhoff, Patrick Swayze and – our personal favorite – Chuck Norris.

Why we find such humor in Chuck Norris I will never know…
